I've spent over 20 years in professional kitchens — restaurants, hotel chains, corporate events, and my own catering company in Barcelona. But the work that changed everything was cooking privately for families in Costa Brava.
There's something that happens when a chef works inside someone's home. The food has to be exceptional — but so does everything else. The way you move through a kitchen that isn't yours. The way you explain a dish without taking over the table. The way you make twelve strangers feel looked after without ever making yourself the center of the evening.
Most chefs are trained for restaurants. Very few are built for this.
When demand grew beyond what I could serve alone, I made a deliberate choice: I would only expand if I could guarantee the same experience in every region. So instead of building a platform, I built a network — a small, carefully chosen group of chefs I know personally, have cooked alongside, and trust completely.
Every chef in our network has been selected by me. Not by an algorithm, not by reviews alone. By me — someone who has done this work and knows exactly what it takes to deliver it well.
When you book through Private Chef Spain, you're not taking a chance on a stranger. You're getting a chef I would send to my own clients.
